Hello...
Welcome to my site.
I was a very shy child. Books were my life. To turn the pages and be transported to a whole new world of adventure, fun and scares. I never felt alone. I remember daring to imagine being a writer. I wrote my first story aged ten. It was the adventures of a garden gnome called Shovel!
Having been let down my the traditional publishing business, I wanted to create a place where I could share my stories with friends-new and old and, hopefully, make sure people don’t feel so alone or worried.
Hence the name- a companion is someone who walks along side of us-sharing our journey.
Through my books, resources and media I want to help deepen children’s emotional awareness and resilience, develop social skills and improve emotional well-being.
I am also writing a supernatural trilogy aimed at Young Adult readers. The first book; ‘Die-Mension’ is coming VERY soon. There will be features and giveaways, so please keep checking back.
